Went there for the first time this morning with my family who had been there once before. They had warned me that last time they went, the service was horrible but the food and atmosphere was great so they wanted to give it a 2nd chance. Well when we arrived it looked like there was only one waitress who was serving about 8 different tables and there were maybe 2 cooks in the back. We still wanted to give it a shot so we sat down and it took forever for us to get even just our drink orders in. I felt bad for the waitress and know it's not her fault because she was taking care of every table there, taking phone calls, bussing tables, and checking people out all by herself. Every table around us also seemed aggravated by how long it was taking. When the food finally arrived it was great! Everyone enjoyed their meals but we all felt unsure if we would go back just because of how long it took and how short staffed they were. I don't know if they just aren't hiring people or maybe aren't paying their staff enough to keep them but I don't know how they are going to stay open when people aren't getting good service. I did give them a 4/5 star review because the food and atmosphere was exceptional!

Choose this site for location and a few of the reviews. We were on our way back home in Fisherville KY and opted for a local place. Menu liked great- lots of choices. Turkey panini was excellent- came with choice of chips, fries, home fries or hash browns. Husband's chicken Cesar wrap was stuffed. He chose home fries...good and crispy. Only pitfall...food slow to arrive. We figured we had missed the midday lunch rush. One server, maybe 1 cook. I give food 4-5 stars Server 4 stars Delivery 2.5 stars die to wait

Food is ok. Bathrooms are clean and servers are very friendly. Food can be inconsistent. For instance one day the home fries are excellent large chunks of potatoes and the next day they look like French fries cut up. Sandwiches are better than the burgers and breakfast is better than lunch.

Nice spot in Winchester for breakfast or lunch. There is street parking or a free parking lot across the street. Wait staff was friendly. Several people in my party had paninis and wraps and everyone enjoyed.

We are regulars for breakfast at Lucky Dog Cafe and it's by far our favorite in Winchester AND the surrounding area! They have budget friendly specials during the week and an awesome diverse breakfast menu on the weekends. Their coffee is also excellent. The place is clean and decorated so cute! The owners also have the LaTratoria restaurant down the street. They are super nice. What more do you need for breakfast!!

Never had as good a Philly cheesesteak sandwich as they served here. An unknown gem in downtown Winchester
